10 meter Ozone Frenzy05
10 meter Ozone Frenzy05

A great day. 87° F, 29% rel. humidity and sunny skies. I got up early, about 6:30 or so and went kiting at a near by park. I flew the 5m Ozone Frensy05 first but the wind was really light so I packed it away and pulled out the 10m. Perfect. I got a small jump once that took me about 5 feet forward and a foot or so in the air – pretty good for a < 10 mph wind.

I played around with my Ground Industries mountain board for a while – I’m still getting the hang of it. It’ll be a while I think before I master it. It was fun though and I was able to get pulled down the field once. A nice old couple stopped by and watched for a while before continuing their walk around the park.

This picture was actually taken about a month ago. The little boy off to the right is my nephew, Johnna. Several of my nices and nephews along with my mom and one of my sisters went to the Point of the Mountain Flight Park to do some flying. This was one of the pictures that my mom took (one of which all relative objects were in the frame 8^).

The Ozone Frenzy05 kites are amazing and have great control and very well engineered de-powering and saftey release systems which add to the overall quality of the kite, saftey and wind range in which it can be flown.

Well, the 4th, being a holiday, means that family is visiting. I’m pretty happy about that. I have a great family. My sister with her family, my brother and his wife and my parents will arrive in the late afternoon for food, a trip to a nearby park and a movie later tonight.

I just got a phone call from a guy named Shaun about the roommate add I put up in the BYU Wilkinson Center. He’ll be stopping by to look at the place in a few minutes.
