I went on a mountain bike ride to Vivian park today and then north to Pleasant Grove before heading back. I stopped by a friends house to see if he wanted to ride with me but found out that he’s out of town till September. His brother in-law (Mike) and his friend (Clay) were there and we may go riding in the near future. Always good to have some riding companions.

For the road, I got a second wheel set for my mountain bike with a smaller Shimano 7-speed Hyperglide cassette than my mountain set. I run Specialized Bike Flack Jacket 1.25″ slicks at 100psi – rock hard. The set is very nice! I’m able to cruse at around 17-20mph on the flats. Although I do need to tension the spokes – I think they are not as tight as I like to ride.
