Today, our team at work had a “team day” or whatever you want to call it. We went to Wasatch State Golf course and played a round of 9 holes at 10am. It was pretty fun but mostly because I was hanging out with some cool people and having a good time. I’m no fan of golf and don’t think I’d be willing to head out on a course on my own or even if I was paid to do it. Anyway, we ended up grabbing some luch at a local restaurant in Midway that was suprisingly good and served quart sized mugs with the soda you ordered (no wimpy 12oz. cups there). I think its called the Mountain Grill or something like that. Anyway, pretty good.
I came back and took care of a little shopping before taking off for a ride. Two intervals to Vivian Park before it got too dark to see – I forgot to bring my light again. It’s getting dark by 8pm now – sad. I miss the long days. I’ll be riding well into the fall though so I’ll be using the light more and more. Lately, since I’ve been doing sooooo many road miles, I’ve been debating getting and actual road bike. Now’s the time to get one as the prices will be cut soon since the season is over.
