I went and rode two road bikes today: a 2004 Trek Madone 5.2 and a 2006 Specialized Tarmac Pro (the same frame set as the Specialized Tarmac Expert which I’m interested in getting). Both the Madone and the Tarmac Expert are sweet bikes and are running near the same price. So, it’s decision time I guess. The Specialized will take a week to order in. The Trek is here now. Both have Shimano Ultegra componants, both have full carbon frames. The Trek has a way better wheel set though yet both are so sweet. It’s a very tough desicion.
