This past Saturday (March 25, 2006) was a perfect day for kiting – the wind was steady at 15 to 20mph out of the south and it was in the 60s. A bunch of us got together at a park in Orem, west of Geneva Rd. to kite. It was awesome! Most hadn’t flown big kites before so we started off with the 1 meter two line kite and most flew the three meter. I was impressed by thoes who flew the 5 meter :)

The above picture is of Terry Townsend on a Peter Lynn kite buggy and an Edel 3 meter kite.

I pulled out the 10m Ozone Frenzy 06 and flew that last – it was a blast. Unfortunately, no pics of the 10m – when Terry had to leave his camera went with him… I was able to do a little kite jumping and once got about 5 feet off the ground and traveled about 15 – 20 feet before landing. :)

So cool!
