I first heard this on NPR this morning as I drove into work and read about it in more depth on OLN TV. Several other news outlets are carrying the story as well.
This morning it was reported that several of the favorites in the Tour de France have been banned from this year’s race on the day of the prologue, the day before the actual race starts due to possible implications with a doctor Eufemiano Fuentes who is suspected in dealing in performance enhancing drugs.

I’m happy to say that I’m preparing again for the Multiple Sclerosis 150
mile ride this year! Last year was a awesome, both in people
who supported me through encouragement as well as many who were able to
donate to help my fund raising goals.

Went with some friends: Melody, Jason and Natalie on a walking tour of downtown Salt Lake City on June 19, 2006. Very cool. Spent some time looking at old buildings but didn’t have nearly enough time to do the whole tour. We only were able to do the first third or so. Took some pictures of the buildings we visited.

A friend of mine, Melody and I went to Garden Park Ward last Tuesday. It’s a fascinating place in the neighborhood where I grew up. I used to float boats in the duck pond and walked through there on my way to and from my high school (East High).

Last night I hung out with Melody. We had a great time. We were supposed to go hiking up Brigham Fork of Emigration Canyon, East of Salt Lake City, UT. but there was a storm that was coming in so we changed plans.

I have a favorite wall clock I bought at Target a few years ago. It’s kind of eclectic with a stainless steel rim and a black leather ring inside that. The clock takes 1 AA battery but it seems to eat them like crazy. In the last year or so, I have had to replace the battery about every two or three monts. I’m tired of it - all I want is a clock that works and doesn’t need to have it’s battery replaced so often so I modded mine last night. A simple but very effective mod IMO…
