Last night I hung out with Melody. We had a great time. We were supposed to go hiking up Brigham Fork of Emigration Canyon, East of Salt Lake City, UT. but there was a storm that was coming in so we changed plans.
We went to the Kyoto restaurant on 11th East and 13th South in Salt Lake. I grew up in that area so afterward we toured the old neighborhood including a back alley where I used to play as a kid then drove up to Garden Park Ward which is 1 1/2 blocks from the house where I grew up. We played there for an hour or so taking pictures, looking at the cool pond and architecture. After grabbing some spare pamphlets on Utah tourism and cool places to see in the state which were left over from the ward’s relief society meeting that night, we left and went to her place to watch the first two episodes of Arrested Development, one of the better comedies ever made. Good times…
We took some pictures of Garden Park which I’ll post in a bit.
