So, it was late last night and not really wanting to sleep, against my better judgement I began browsing some of the cool links I have collected over the past few weeks. One of my favorites has been a collection of free or otherwise freely available movies and documentaries at http://www.jonhs.net/freemovies/

I have always heard of The Dark Side of the Rainbow – a synchronization of the favorite movie Wizard of Oz with Pink Floyd‘s Dark Side of the Moon. I was intrigued when I saw it in the list of free documentaries (what?). More information on The Dark Side of the Rainbow can be found in Wikipedia.
I watched the entire thing which at 1:00am is pretty amusing.
You can watch it here for yourself. It’s about 43 minutes long – if you’re reading this through a site that aggregates my feed, there’s an embedded video below that you’re probably not seeing so click on the story headline and visit the actual story on my site so you can watch it:
There are several other great movies and documentaries (that are actual documentaries) on the site. I could spend way too much time there if I wanted to. There are also some of the old training/educational films shown during the 50′s 60′s and 70′s in schools (Duck and Cover and other such films to help your manners and dating, etc.).
Hope you enjoy…
