Well, there’s been a few of my hoards of readers :) who have pinged me about my Bosch 4000-09 Table saw from www.toolking.com arrives, missing parts story.

Well, good news – for me anyway. I called Bosch’s service center and after a few minutes confirming that I needed the table insert as well as the hardware that is required to level it and secure it in place, they had my info and promised that the missing parts would be on their way to me.

7 to 10 days was quoted and sure enough, I had the package in hand only about 7 days later. The only thing was that they sent me 4 bolts that I didn’t need in place of a single bolt that I did need. It’s the one bolt that holds the little retention clip in place that prevents the insert from falling out when the saw is stored in it’s upright position.

I’ll be fine however. The 4 that they sent me that are not going to work are in fact, the right thread type, just too long so I’m going to cut one to the right size and get a lock-washer that will work with it. Not a real issue at all.

Alright, hope everyone is having a good Saturday. Off to get more done on my remodel.
