Presentation on security techniques:
Lamont Peterson, senior instructor from Guru Labs will present on
1) Password security, john-the-ripper (dictionary attack) and how to
generate & memorize strong passwords.
2) IDS basics (intro to tripwire & Snort).
* We will have wireless access during the meeting so bring
your laptops or other wireless devices.
* Door Prize Drawing: We will be drawing for "Fedora Core 6
Unleashed" from Sams Publishing and a couple other items.
