This month’s Salt Lake Linux Users Group meeting will be on Security and defeating typical firewalls. Ed Shirey will present on a mechanism for defeating a typical firewall, assuming both peers are behind firewalls and want to talk to each other with TCP/IP.
For information about the technique and a summary of the technology, see the following link:
http://sourceforge.net/p/cch/home/Home/
In the demo, we’ll have 2 laptops and a server, plus two soho wireless routers (home wireless routers). The setup will allow one to connect between the laptops, with the server between the 2 routers (firewall) acting as a DNS server.
