Nikon D200 and 55-200 Nikkor lens for Sale. Mint Condition.
I have recently upgraded my camera and purchased a new Nikon D300 to replace my D200 which I bought in the fall last year. The D200 that I am selling is in extremely good condition. It has always been well cared for and has had very few pictures taken on it.
In addition to the D200 camera body, I am including a Nikkor 50-200mm lens and the new cables, battery and charger that came with my D300 to replace the original used D200 items. All the original packaging and manuals (in both english and spanish) will be included as well as the Nikon D200 Digiatal Field Guide by David D. Busch.

Went with some friends: Melody, Jason and Natalie on a walking tour of downtown Salt Lake City on June 19, 2006. Very cool. Spent some time looking at old buildings but didn’t have nearly enough time to do the whole tour. We only were able to do the first third or so. Took some pictures of the buildings we visited.

A friend of mine, Melody and I went to Garden Park Ward last Tuesday. It’s a fascinating place in the neighborhood where I grew up. I used to float boats in the duck pond and walked through there on my way to and from my high school (East High).

This pic is just too funny. I don’t know who the original photographer was but I think they caught some squirrels that need to be watched very carefully…

Well, it seems that the cat is out of the bag now. These picures along with a list of specifications of the Nikon D200 were leaked yesterday on the net and posted to several photography sites around the net. Note that the specs are not official. In fact, none of this is official since Nikon has not announced anything as of yet.

Well, with the Photo Marketing Association Annual Show come and gone, many Nikon fans (I guess I include myself in there) were dissapointed that there wasn’t a new camera in the Canon 20D range. There were some supprizes though.

Well, it’s the show I’ve been waiting for for quite some time. I’ve been waiting for Nikon to release a new mid/low end “prosumer” level DSLR camera to compete against Canon in the 20D range. The PMA or Photo Marketing Association annual show starts today in Orlando Florida. Wish I was there.

UPDATE Oct. 28, 2005: Check out the new leaked D200 picures!
With all the anxiety building around Nikon’s supposed offering that would fill the gap in their “prosumer” line between the D70 and the higher-end cameras and in doing so, counter Canon’s 20D, there has been all together too much speculation and rumor-mill work. The most often talked about possibilities include sensor size and type, ranging from 8.2 MP which would be the minimum in creating an offering comparable to the 20D, to a 12+ MP sensor. Most people are hoping for a magnesium body rather than the polycarbonate D70 version. All this talk has inspired (ha!) several people to make some touched-up photos of the new Nikon D200! Imagine that. Well, it seems that every one of these photos so far has been shown to be a fraud, albeit most are well done.

UPDATE Oct. 28, 2005: Check out the new leaked D200 picures!
So, I’ve been looking at digital SLR for quite some time. I currently am using an Olympus C-5050z which is a pretty nice camera to be sure but I would like to do more with lenses and filters plus get a faster lens that what I’m stuck with currently. It’s a 5 megapixle camera and I’m able to take pictures that can print fairly well. Most of what is currently in my gallery was taken with the C-5050.
